IOD Foundation was established under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 via registration number SE/ 1599/ Distt. South East/ 2019. The Aims and Objectives for which the Foundation is established are as follows:
Brochure Our Activities Donate NowAs the camp was targeted towards underprivileged, IOD Foundation conducted free diagnosis of patients and distributed free medicines according to the prescription by doctors to the patients. After the diagnosis, refreshments were also given to the patients containing juice box and glucose biscuits, etc.
This program is in in continuation to IOD Foundation's first initiative to care for Old Age Homes in 2020, where nutritious food packets and non-perishable food items were distributed. At IOD Foundation, we believe in long-term and continued support to care and support the underprivileged, leading to a positive impact on their living.
This camp aims to work for the marginalized at risk population in Gurugram. This initiative was carried out to help the vulnerable communities in populous cities and preventing them from outbreaks in the third wave of COVID-19.
a)To promote employment opportunities by enhancing vocational skills and undertake livelihood enhancement projects. b) To advice and train MSME sector, including start-up enterprises, to improve their corporate governance capabilities.
To encourage corporates and organizations and to assist in the viability of their environment friendly projects, with a view to achieve ecological balance.
We are in collaboration with various NGOs/ Charitable Organizations, extended its support to the underprivileged by distributing monthly dry-food kit for more than 500+ families. The dry food kit comprised of rice, sugar, pulses, spices, wheat and refined oil sufficient for a four member family.
The IOD Foundation hosted a panel discussion webinar on September 29, 2022 to raise awareness about "Food Loss and Waste." Theme: Building Resilient, Inclusive, and Sustainable Food Systems – From Production to Consumption.
The Foundation is currently focusing on creating change in the areas of rural upliftment, skills-training and development of youth and underserved people, women-empowerment, financial-literacy, health and food.

IOD Foundation organises free Covid-19 Tests campaign #wecareforyou
New Delhi (India): On November 19, 2020, IOD Foundation established by the Institute of Directors (IOD), India organised a special Covid testing campaign at IOD’s headquarters in New Delhi, India.
With the rising cases of Covid-19 in the national capital, IOD was concerned about the well-being of our employees. To keep the spread of the virus in check, within the IOD family, a campaign (#wecareforyou) was launched with the aim of ensuring continued good health and safety of the workforce and their families.
Under this campaign, complimentary Covid-19 tests were carried out for all employees and support staff to ensure safety for all and the society at large.
Employees were also reminded of the need to continue keeping immunity levels high, follow social distancing in their professional and personal environments, wash hands frequently, and also to intimate the management as soon as they feel unwell.
IOD Foundation organised a special function on 27th February, 2020 at Prachodana Social Society, 439/33, Pocket 12, Jasola Village, New Delhi-25, for distributing Non Perishable Food items to all, in Old Age Home. A Total of 25 aged homeless people are being cared by the Prachodana Social Service Society, since long. Most of the people were picked up from the road side by the society.
The Prachodana Social Service Society is engaged with IOD foundation to get support through various activities, leading to a positive impact on the aged homeless people. IOD Foundation recognized nutritious food as one of the basic requirement which had a gap, and therefore provided that support. The foundation has launched this initiative and has committed to support through such nutritious interventions.
