for Underprivileged Category (Medical Beds, Wheelchairs and Adult Diapers)



IOD Foundation with the support and CSR initiative of GAIL India Ltd. in association with Suvidha Bio Foundation had donated Medical Beds, Wheelchairs and Adult Diapers to Aanchal Foundation, Rohini, Shanti Ashram, Jasola and differently abled population of Indirapuram, Ghaziabad.

Some of the differently abled people of surrounding areas of Indirapuram, Vaishali, Vasundhara and Loni who constitute a valuable human resource for the country and just a little help from our side can help in making a big difference for them. IOD Foundation came forward and donated Medical beds and Wheelchairs to the most deserving people.


Healthcare Support Camp at Old Age Home



IOD Foundation organized a healthcare support camp for the Old Age Home at Shanti Ashram, Jasola Vihar, New Delhi on August 20, 2021. More than 25 beneficiaries were provided with adult diapers. The beneficiaries are being cared by Prachodana Social Service Society, mostly the people picked from the road side, requiring medical attention, food, shelter and care. The beneficiaries were provided with cooked food, face masks, hand sanitizers, disinfectant items such as Dettol, Lizol and Vipers, and nutritious food kit containing glucose biscuits, energy drinks such as Glucon-D, oats, juice, etc.

This initiative was funded and supported by GAIL India Ltd. as part of their CSR initiative.

This program is in in continuation to IOD Foundation's first initiative to care for Old Age Homes in 2020, where nutritious food packets and non-perishable food items were distributed. At IOD Foundation, we believe in long-term and continued support to care and support the underprivileged, leading to a positive impact on their living.

Our Commitment is that We Care for the People

Three social foundations – IOD Foundation, Nagrik Foundation and Action Aid Association have joined hands to pool together their competencies and serve the common man in this difficult period of COVID pandemic.

An MOU to this effect was signed by the three organizations on 11 May, 2021 in New Delhi virtually.

The three organizations have committed to provide quality services for social development, healthcare, relief and livelihood opportunities and other activities as defined under CSR in Schedule VII of the Companies Act. They will collectively plan site specific projects to deliver effective actions on the ground. To attain their ‘goal' they will approach private, public and family owned companies for their support under CSR funds.

All programmes will be planned after thorough needs assessment and scientific planning of actions. Strict monitoring and evaluation will also be ensured. Preference will be given to projects identified by government agencies. Our projects will be executed in every part of the country. It is expected that by joining hands the three organizations bring in unique strengths and will provide all assistance in relief, settlement, healthcare, education, skills development and livelihoods.
